In His Own Words

The first words Kreis White ever said to me were “If you wear a tie to your interview, I may strangle you with it.”   I knew I was home…

I joined the firm in 2011 just after graduating from law school.  Since then, I've had the opportunity to litigate in a multitude of different Courts and counties throughout Middle and Eastern Tennessee.  While the hours and miles are certainly taxing, I love learning just how unique each venue can be, and how those nuances can impact a lawsuit.

When not working, the majority of my entertainment comes from supporting Vanderbilt Athletics with my wife, Beth (the only person I've ever met who actually loves the Commodores more than I do).  Highlights include being featured on a national tailgating show, seeing the first Bowl win since the Reagan administration, and getting to witness the Baseball National Championship in Omaha.  However to be fair, lowlights include multiple 3-9 seasons, frequent NCAA tournament disappointments, having a football stadium smaller than many Texas high schools.  So it really all balances out in the end.  When I'm not watching the Commodores, I enjoy drawing, kickball, or simply relaxing on the back porch.
